Hong Kong and Bangkok Study Tour December 2009

Roger Baran will lead a study tour to Hong Kong and Bangkok in December. In Hong Kong the focus will be the fashion industry, the battle between two tourism powerhouses-Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, and how to do business from the gateway city to China. In Bangkok the focus will be health care tourism especially cosmetic surgery, alternative therapies, wellness and spa treatments. International joint-ventures will also be investigated. Thirteen Harvard Business School cases will be analyzed in preparation for visits to the companies investigated in the cases. Particpants will also attend the Asian Forum on Business Education Conference held in Bangkok and meet with DePaul MBA alumni groups in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
